We recently introduced our Central Catalogues feature, and we’ve heard some of your concerns regarding the transition from local catalogues. We want to assure you that this change is designed with your best interests in mind, directly aligning with our commitment to affordability and ease of use for all our users.

We understand that you’ve invested time in perfecting your local catalogues, and we respect that. While the reduced setup time primarily benefits new users, the core advantage of Central Catalogues is the streamlining of our overall support demand.

One of the biggest demands on our support team has been assisting with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of individual product catalogues. With the rising costs of developing and maintaining software like Once, it’s increasingly difficult to maintain our low price point without introducing features that streamline and reduce support demand. By working with users to perfect a catalogue or product once, and then making it readily available through Central Catalogues, we significantly reduce the overall time and resources required for support.

While existing users may not directly experience the reduced setup time, you indirectly benefit from the lower overall support demand. This enables us to maintain the low cost of Once, ensuring it remains accessible to all independent retailers.

Important Note: We are not removing the legacy local catalogues feature from Once. However, we are no longer offering local catalogue subscriptions to new users. We also strongly encourage all existing users to switch to Central Catalogues to maximise the benefits of this new feature. We are committed to continuously improving the flexibility and range of Central Catalogue products, with the long-term goal of making local catalogues unnecessary.

Privacy Assurance: Using Central Catalogues instead of or in conjunction with local catalogues does not alter the data you share with Once. Your pricing information and other sensitive data remain secure and confidential, adhering to our existing privacy policies.
